This is a dip-style pregnancy test. That means you collect your first morning urine in a clean container (a Dixie cup or other disposable cup is recommended), then dip the pregnancy test strip in no further than the MAX line for 10 seconds.

One line = not pregnant.

Please keep in mind that this is an EXTREMELY sensitive pregnancy test. This is great news, but sometimes it detects pregnancy (implantation) too soon. You ask, how can that be?
According to the American Pregnancy Association, 50-75% of miscarriages are due to chemical pregnancies. Chemical pregnancies occur when the pregnancy is lost very soon after implantation. Your body will produce the hCG pregnancy hormone until the chemical pregnancy occurs.
If you get a positive pregnancy test followed shortly thereafter by a negative one, a chemical pregnancy may have occurred. You should make an appointment with your doctor.
Chemical pregnancies are a very common occurrence, more common than most people realize. The majority of women never even know a chemical pregnancy (aka spontaneous abortion, SAB, miscarriage) has happened, since most miscarriages occur before 12 weeks gestation.
