Managing Your Growing Belly During Pregnancy

Share |

A growing belly is a natural and normal part of your pregnancy. Every woman is going to see her shape change while she is pregnant, regardless of how big or small her belly may have been before pregnancy. The growing belly creates a number of frustrations, not the least of which is the difficulty that it can cause with getting to sleep at night, or just maneuvering around during everyday activities. One of the most frustrating things about a growing belly during pregnancy, however, has to be the way that it causes clothes to fit.

It can be especially difficult to manage your wardrobe as your belly grows. One day, your pre-pregnancy jeans might fit just fine, and the next day you will be struggling with getting them to button at all. Yet, you may not be ready for maternity clothes just yet, or you may really want to wear some of the clothes that you wore before you were pregnant. Fortunately, there are tools that you can use to go about managing your growing belly during pregnancy.

One of the best tools to use to manage your growing belly during pregnancy is the Bella Band. The Bella Band is a stretchy tube of spandex-type material that can stretch around your belly. You can leave your jeans unbuttoned, for example, and pull the Bella Band down over the top of the jeans, covering up the fact that your jeans are unbuttoned. The top part of the Bella Band will fit over your belly, but under your shirt, thereby holding your jeans in place.

The Bella Band provides a great deal of versatility to you during pregnancy. It allows you to wear clothes longer into your pregnancy that, before the Bella Band, would not have been an option. The Bella Band has been one of the greatest solutions for managing your growing belly during pregnancy. Many women have used this product with great results, and have even found creative uses for the Bella Band after pregnancy, such as using it as a sports bra while nursing.
