Natural nipple creams may also rely on a variety of herbs to help with sore nipples, such as calendula.

It is important, as well, to know what is causing you to have sore nipples during breastfeeding. If it is because you are engorged, you might consider expressing your breasts in between feedings to relieve some of the pressure. If your nipples are sore because your baby is teething, however, then you are going to rely more on things like compresses or creams.
