How does FertileCM Work?
As Dr. Amos Grunebaum suggests, "For many women, problems with cervical mucus - or CM - may cause obstacles to getting pregnant. If cervical mucus is not present to provide a healthy medium for sperm, then conception may be inhibited. FertileCM is designed to help women produce fertile-quality cervical fluids - and increase the odds of conception."
Scientific studies also indicate that the same amino acid (L-Arginine) that supports the production of cervical mucus also increases endometrial secretions in order to prepare the uterine lining for implantation. How the Ingredients Work to Promote Fertility
FertileCM integrates several key ingredients that have been shown in clinical studies to safely and naturally promote the production of cervical fluids, support the 'thinning' of mucus, increase hydration of the mucin, as well as promote proper mucus alkalinity. In addition, the same ingredient that supports CM production (L-Arginine as nitric oxide precursor) has also been shown to induce endometrial secretion (creating a healthy uterus lining) during implantation time.
FertileCM is a dietary designed to promote the presence of cervical mucus by supporting the production of nitric oxide (NO). Nitric oxide is produced naturally by the body and is important for numerous bodily functions. Among these, nitric oxide dilates blood vessels and helps promote blood flow to the uterus, ovaries, and genitals.
For fertility, the importance of nitric oxide includes an increase of endocervical secretions during the ovulatory phase in women. In one key study, "nitric oxide (NO) administration markedly increased cervical secretion" for women taking supplementation in the test group, "while no changes in cervical secretion were seen in the control group."
In addition, other studies suggest that FertileCM, by providing a key precursor for nitric oxide (NO), may increase vascular dilatation, blood flow, and muscular relaxation around the vagina, thereby enhancing libido and improving sensation to sexual stimulation.
